Requirements

• Download and install SP_Driver_V2.0 and Driver_setup_150313 (*Skip, if already installed)
• Sp flashtool - Download

How to root
Step 1: Download Super Su and Recovery

Step 2: Copy the downloaded SuperSU_v2.49.zip to internal sdcard

Step 3: Extract Sp Flashtool contents to a folder on your PC desktop.

Step 4: Open the folder containing Sp flashtool files, copy recovery.img and MT6753_Android_scatter.txt in flashtool folder

Step 5: Run flash_tool.exe as Administrator (right-click, Run as Administrator)

Step 6: Click on Scatter loading, then select MT6753_Android_scatter.txt

Step 7: Now click on the Download button located at the top-let of the flashtool interface

Step 8: Turn off your Coolpad device and connect to PC via usb cable, then press Volume up button twice. If phone is properly connected, a slider should run across Sp flashtool interface bottom.

Once flashing is complete, a green indicator would pop up.

Step 9: Now disconnect your device from PC and DON'T boot to normal mode yet. Press and hold down Volume up + Power button until device boots into recovery mode.

Step 10: Select Install zip

Step 11: Select Choose zip from sd, then select 0

Step 12: Scroll up or download and select SuperSU_v2.49.zip

Step 13: Reboot device once flashing is complete.

Congratulations! your Coolpad Note 3 is now rooted. Check root status with any Root checker app...
